Description
SAMTRAL-400 is a natural substance found in cells, tissue & body fluid. It is produced from methionine, an amino acid containing sulfur, and adenosine triphosphate (ATP). SAMe plays a crucial biochemical role in the body by donating a one-carbon methyl group in a process called transmethylation. S-Adenosyl methionine is a common cosubstrate involved in methyl group transfers, transsulfuration, and aminopropylation. S-Adenosyl-l-methionine is a used for the treatment of liver disease associated with reduced bile formation (intrahepatic cholestasis). It protects the liver cells from toxins and helps the liver to perform its normal functions. S-Adenosylmethionine acts as mood elevating agent & support normal brain function.
